Gear Head 6.0 Tune files

Using SCT’s tuning software, Gearhead Automotive Performance has programs available that extract extra mileage and performance over the already good pre-loaded programs provided by SCT. We recommend the default files in the SCT device for the average driver but if you want extra performance Gearhead can supply you with custom files after your purchase.

•  Tow – Since this file maintains stock fuel parameters, it can tow whatever you want while giving better shift firmness than stock. Run this tune for the ranch trucks and tow rigs always hooked up to a heavy trailer.
• Street Race Lite Minus(SRL-): Same shifting of SRL series files . A perfect “in between” daily file. This could be great for working trucks / fleet trucks that just need a little extra boost to get going.
• Street Race Lite (SRL):  Awesome daily driver file (no towing) with butt kicking response, low smoke, and outrageous power. The best shifting all-around street file on the market period and what we have been famous for! Typical gains of 1-3 MPG have also been reported with this file on 100% healthy trucks and proper driving habbits.
• Street Race Lite Plus (SRL+):  This is more power to our famous SRL file for those that just want a little more out of the truck as a daily driver. Studded & supporting mods highly suggested.
• Street Race Lite Extreme : Maximum power out of the stock turbo and fuel system. This is a great mix of daily & street setup trucks for using the most out of the truck’s power. Studded & supporting mods highly suggested.
• Street Race Lite Super Extreme – More power above the SRL Extreme but you need at minimum a turbo upgrade and holding ICP & Fuel. This is our full power race tune squeezing out everything out of the truck and staying clean & healthy.

Modified Injectors will be a completely separate set of files due to the nature of how they are but are supported for upgraded injectors from 155cc/stock – 250cc/100%

Full Fuel – This is our full power race tune squeezing out everything out of the truck and staying clean & healthy. You will need to be holding ICP / Fuel and have a upgraded KC Turbo or similar to see maximum results and control the power.
