Description
6.7 Cummins Bosch Injector
Injector failure on the 6.7L Common Rail Dodge Cummins trucks is usually caused by either bad fuel or the use of power adders that increase rail pressure. Bad fuel can cause injector failure immediately, pressure boxes will cause failure over time. The best insurance against bad fuel contamination is to run a 2 or 3 micron aftermarket fuel filter in combination with a water separator.
BOSCH ADVANTAGE:
The advantage to being rebuilt by Bosch is they have the ability to completely “gut” these injectors from input to output to ensure they are as close to new as possible. The only “Remanufactured” part of these injectors are the housing. All internals are brand new and then reassembled the right way by Bosch. There’s no reason to pay enormous costs at the dealer.

When replacing the injector(s), it is extremely important to also replace the injector connector tube(s) to each replaced injector. In most cases, the original connector tube can be essentially seated into the original injector, which leaves an impression at the tip of the tube. At this impression, leaks can develop because it may not seat into the new injector as the tube did with the original.
Each Injector is sealed and individually packaged including O-rings and copper crush washers necessary for installation.
